"Minato-kun!" He hears Ryoji long before they happen across each other at the school gate, and he's more than happy to wait since he doesn't have much going on for once.

"Ryoji-san. Do you need something?" It's become common of late for Ryoji to call out to him and ask him about anything except for something he needs, but habits are hard to break and something about Ryoji today suggests that he really needs help- as excited as his friend could get, he didn't usually speed down the school entrance unless a pretty girl caught his eye.

"Ha...haha, nothing much!" Ryoji replies while still gasping for breath. "It's just that I was thinking about how much free time I have, and it's kinda hard to get girls like that, you know?" Even as he says this Minato's attention is diverted elsewhere by the shrieks of two girls, eagerly comparing the hottest boys of the second grade. He doesn't mean to listen of course, it's just that his name comes up frequently, as does Ryoji's.

"You need help with that?" Few things puzzle Minato, but he's a little wide-eyed when he looks back at Ryoji with his usual blank stare. "Well, I guess the usual for us would be clubs, but they're all closed to new members...too bad, you might have met some cute girls that way." Although again, he doesn't see how clubs have anything to do with meeting cute girls- SEES hardly counted when it was only a front, after all.

"What, seriously?" Ryoji sounds disappointed for a moment and he even pulls at his scarf for a bit before he brightens up again, clapping his hands together. Almost as if he has an idea, Minato thinks (He also thinks that this might not be a good idea).

"Wait, I got it Minato-kun! I heard from a certain someone that clubs can be started with enough interest...anddddd I know just who to ask! She's super cute too so it's like killing two birds with one arrow!" Minato's reaction could hardly be less in contrast to Ryoji's own, hands tucked into his pockets as he watches the other boy practically dance in joy.

"It's two birds with one stone, and you need at least five members." The statement is flat as always but Minato's not done yet. It'd be interesting to see what will come out of this after all and something about seeing Ryoji so happy makes him happy too...almost familiar in ways unexplained. "Good luck though," he adds, smiling slightly before he takes his leave and walks away, wondering what tomorrow will bring for this new club.

He regrets it a week later when Ryoji runs by him wearing a shirt that he thinks says something along the lines of "Watching Minato Sleep Club" and Aigis stops to ask him about Ryoji's location a few minutes later while holding onto what looks like the same shirt, shrugging when she tells him about how he must be dangerous to have come up with something like this.

Maybe it's not a club, but they could have been a trio.
